Stranger Danger
By: Maren Stoffels
Synopsis:
Lotus, Nova, and Vin need to get serious about studying. They’ve even rented a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere so they can focus. No phones. No internet. No distractions. But they are not alone. Someone else is studying too- studying them.
My Review:
The author doesn’t go into detail about each character, but as the story progresses you get glimpses into how they might look. The most important part of the story is learning what kind of person each character is. This brings out different emotions in the reader, which is what I think helps keep the reader engaged.
The book was intriguing and there were many developing details to keep you guessing. I thought I had some of the secrets figured out, but it turns out I was way off. The story was written from two different perspectives simultaneously, which made the story even more exciting.
I was mind blown by the end and in no way would I have predicted what happened. It was amazing how the characters stories came together and ended from the perspective of a third character, which made the ending even better.
There was an amazing lesson to take away from this book and for that reason I would highly recommend it, especially to teenagers.
